Actress discusses her strategy for staying in shape while balancing a busy schedule

When it comes to gorgeous working moms with a fit figure to boot, Laura Leighton certainly comes to mind.

The Pretty Little Liars star stunned on the red carpet last night at the ABC Family screening of the hit show's Halloween episode at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in a cozy cowl neck sweater and black leather skinny jeans, looking positively radiant from the inside out.

Aside from her glossy long locks and piercing blue eyes, we couldn't help but admire the actress' svelte figure, too.

Needless to say, it should come to no surprise that the redhead makes working out a priority in her life and plans ahead to ensure she gets her daily workout in, even as a busy mother of two.

The actress spoke to E! News' Ali Fedotowsky at the screening and shared some tips of her own.

"It's not easy to fit in, but what works for me is if I just plan on it first thing in the morning. It's the first thing I do once I get the kids out the door," she explains of her fitness plan of attack. "I plan on working out for the first part of the day, because if I let my day get away from me, the workout is out the window!"

Smart plan, indeed!

So what exactly does Leighton do to break a sweat and feel the burn during those precious morning hours?

"I try to mix it up! I do a little pilates, I do a little Cardio Barre, sometimes I run or do the stairs," she shared with us.
