I always try to stay clear of ordering from overseas that has to come through customs. I inherited a Belarus tractor, which is from Ukraine, that is the only place for parts is Ukraine. I’ve been following tracking since it originated. It made it to the USA in 12 days. It cleared customs within two days in New York State then was shipped to St. Louis, Mo. where it has been for a month, thirty days to be exact. What’s the deal with that USPS? It’s a metal fuel line. It’s rigid steel so small in diameter with two nuts attached to it. I just can’t figure out your logistics debacle. The USPS facility there must be packed to the roof with packages. This is unacceptable. USPS has me by the nuts, literally. Do better! You suck!

What is the point of paying for overnight express delivery if your package is just going to get left in the warehouse? No way to be picked up or anything. I had medicine delivered overnight for a reason and an extra 30 dollars. Now no medicine and they can't help me or tell me why or tell me when I'll have it. If something happens to me I want my family to sue.

Frequently have packages that are delivered to my neighbors. Also have had packages arrive in the local post office and then are rerouted around the country for several days either never showing up or showing up a week or 10 days late. Also have had issues with heavy packages or large packages that just sit in the post office for days, without notifying me that they were there.

****I know these review don't matter because USPS is Government and nothing will ever be done to fix it. However, just wanted people to know if you can use another carrier, I would advise that. I place order online almost everyday for merchandise. USPS, compared to other carriers is by far the worst. As you can see below my item was supposed to arrive April 16th. Somehow, it has travelled all around the state of Missouri. The previous week, I had to create a lost package claim, my package went from Alabama to Portland, Oregon, then back to St. Louis, then to Kansas city, then to my house. These delays are getting ridiculous. Someone isn't doing their job and these packages are getting sent all over before they reach their destination. Word of advice, DON'T use USPS to transport your mail. Use another carrier.

Baltimore USPS is awful, especially mailing within the city. I have to mail bills certified or they don’t make it to their destination. Insured packages sent to me are marked as delivered, but not dropped in my mailbox- can’t file a complaint because status says delivered. I shipped an insured package, priority mail, to Colorado on April 3rd. It has been bouncing around Baltimore distribution centers for 13 days. No answers from mail clerks, the 800 number won’t connect me to an agent, can’t file a claim because technically it’s not lost. It will bounce around the city until the end of time. But I have to refund my buyer $1000 since she has not received her package. Usps is an untrustworthy monopoly.

No wonder the post office is going downhill fast. They lost my package which was sent priority mail and was supposed to reach my son within 3 days. That was 14 days ago. According to tracking, it has been at the same sorting facility for five days so it's probably lost or stolen. I sent a find my package request 3 days ago but have not heard a thing. Next step will be to file a claim for the contents except I didn't keep the receipts. I'm so upset my son didn't get the special package I sent him. I won't be using the post office again to send anything!!

Every time I purchase through mail order I refuse to buy from a company that uses USPS. Absolutely terrible customer service, terrible code of ethics or responsibility for any portion of their “service.” Last package they scanned as delivered, was not in my mailbox, at my home, or at the local post office. When I reached out to them I was given the runaround for a week and they finally said “oops, nothing we can do.” So now either I’m out a product or the company I ordered from has to eat the cost. I look forward to seeing everyone in that office living on the street when this bs company finally goes under, because they definitely do not have any marketable skills.

I order a package a week ago and have been waiting to receive it. I check the Status of my package since yesterday and was slated to be delivered today by 4:20 pm. Now that the day has arrived the status is now blank and it is well past 5:00 pm and they delivered someone else's package to my address I can't stress enough how much I hate USPS because of how much it is an inconvenience to your schedule and day. USPS seriously need to be shut down.

Recently spent an unexpected, unplanned 11 days out of town dealing with a patient. Returned home to empty apt. complex mailbox. Traveled 35 minutes to local PO which had NO pile of mail and was told that the deliverer has "probably left it on the truck". Left note of inquiry in mailbox and was informed that "I thought you had moved" and all mail was returned or whatever!! UNBELIEVABLE!! Postal worker said to file a mail hold next time. Since this event was totally unplanned, that is not an option. Good to know that one must do the PO job for them and pre-empt their failures for them.

Had a item that I purchased from Amazon. Email said delivered on Saturday I’ve literally been in the yard all day on Saturday. went to the post office this morning which was a Monday and they said they had a sub and they probably delivered it to the wrong house, and that I should check the neighbors. I laughed and said no, they said they could possibly ping where they dropped it off but have heard nothing yet. What a joke…. If the address says 1515, and the box says 1515 and the street name they should deliver it to that house, not down the road.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is the official and original postal service for the United States. Ever since Benjamin Franklin was appointed as the first postmaster general in 1775, USPS has been delivering mail to people across the country. Today, USPS has expanded its services to also include international shipping, package shipping and priority mail.

    • Easy to use: Anyone can send mail through USPS by using their home mailbox or dropping their mail off at any post office in the United States. Consumers and businesses can also arrange for package pickup online, making it easy to mail packages without leaving home.

    • Mail options: USPS offers several mailing options so consumers can find a shipping timeframe and cost that meets their needs. Priority Express fees start at $22.95, and shipping runs seven days a week, so packages will be delivered on weekends. First class mail is available to send items weighing up to 13 ounces. Stamps cost only 47 cents, and your parcel will be delivered within one to three business days.

    • Precious Cargo Box: Consumers who are sending fragile items can purchase a Priority Mail Precious Cargo Box. These boxes ship for a flat rate and include $50 worth of insurance. They include polyethylene foam dots or inserts that prevent items from moving during transport. Precious Cargo Boxes are available in three sizes.

    • Shipping insurance: Consumers and businesses can purchase insurance to cover the cost of their package up to $5,000 for standard mail in the event of damage or destruction. Most priority mail shipments automatically come with $100 worth of insurance, and more can be added on for an upcharge.

    • Military and diplomatic mail: Send packages to your loved one who is in the military for the price of domestic shipping, even if they are overseas. Save an additional two dollars when you use a large flat rate box. You can print off a label complete with custom forms right from your home printer and arrange for home pickup to simplify the process of sending a package to the military overseas.
