| Outstanding Talent I purchased this album when it was first released back in 68. I was blown away by the complexity and flow of the songs contained in this work. It was then, and remains to this day, one of my all-time favorite albums. I truly feel that this work represents the absolute best of Blood Sweat and Tears. I now have the CD and listen to it often. | eye opening I was introduced to this album in 1968 at its debut by a friend who was into jazz, I was into the Stones, Yardbirds Animale etc. This album set me straight about what music is and can be, I wore out the vinyl albums 3 times, and immediatly bought it on cd when it became available, it sits in my car 6 cd player and never comes out,as the other 5 slots are constantly being changed, I consider this album to be my favorite of all time. | BS&T First The sound of this first album is different from all of the other BS&T albums in that Al Kooper was the driving influence. The quality of the CD is excellent and the innocence, clarity, honesty and even humor of the music weaves a sound that was too short lived but very long remembered. It brought back many fond memories, but more important, it still has the ability to be a treasured addition to my digital music library. library.
