WSU football recruiting: Cougars add 2 verbal commitments

The Cougars are filling holes about as quickly as they open.

WSU lost a pair of recruits on Monday with Kyahva Tezino and Dahu Green both decommitting from WSU, but the Cougars didn't waste any time filling the spots, pulling in two verbal commitments. DE/OLB Nnamdi Oguayo was the first commit of the day and the night was rounded out with a verbal from JUCO WR C.J. Dimry.

Rivals pegs the 6-foot-4 210-pound Oguayo as a 2-star prospect while the other services are yet to evaluate him. WSU's interest in Oguayo picked up recently and he took an official visit to Pullman over the weekend. Although Oguayo isn't highly-ranked by the recruiting services, his offer sheet isn't that of an unranked prospect this late in the cycle. Pittsburgh, Indiana, Illinois, Louisville and South Florida were among the other teams who offered. Oguayo fits the mold of a future BUCK linebacker.

Dimry also took an official visit to Pullman over the weekend, although he did it without an offer. That offer came Monday night and Dimry didn't waste any time accepting, giving a verbal commitment within the hour. At 6-foot-6 and 207 pounds, Dimry is a big-bodied wide receiver. Dimry is long too, size definitely is not a question. According to Britton Ransford Dimry will come to Pullman with two years to play two. Be does not have a redshirt season, so he'll be in the mix right away. There isn't a lot of information available just yet. The various recruiting sites don't even have a profile for Dimry. He does show good ability to go up and get the ball and makes catches in traffic in his sophomore season highlights.

With the pair of commitments, WSU currently sits with 24 commitments for the 2015 class. The final list appears likely to change with a few moving parts still to settle.
