RBH Sound introduced the most recent addition to the company's popular MC in-wall loudspeaker Series at CES 2006, the MC-884 in-wall.

Intended for high-end home theaters, RBH's MC-884 is a perfect solution where space is at a premium, yet big sound is a must. Whether battling room size, floor congestion or simply seeking a clean, contemporary home theater for the family to enjoy; RBH MC Series high performance in-walls are an attractive, convenient alternative to large box speakers which can overtake living space.

Featuring RBH's proprietary aluminum cone technology, (the same found in the rest of the MC Series in-wall models) and characterized by inherent stiffness, the MC-884 delivers clear, crisp sound with precision and realism. An ideal front main speaker, the new MC-884 boasts two 8-inch aluminum woofers, a 2 ½- inch aluminum dome midrange, and a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter. The MC-884's tweeter is designed to swivel so that it may be aimed at the listening position, and includes protection to avoid being over-driven.

[RBHMC884] Equally adept at reproducing high, low, and midrange levels, the MC-884 does not fail to capture all the details of favorite movies and music. This new in-wall can handle up to 200 Watts of power, more than enough to satisfy mid to large listening environments.

The MC-884 measures 10 1/4"W x 19"H x 3 3/4"D and sports a white grille and frame, paint-able to match any room or wall décor.

The introductory MSRP of the MC-884 is $1,499/pair and they are expected to ship mid-January, 2006.
